Confirm Your Calling and Election
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,
You can memorize the scripture and meditate on it and that’s a good thing. But what if you ended it with “because I am in Him!”everything needs to be filtered through the resurrection.
It is my understanding that biblical meditation is when you think about imagine ponder and or consider any biblical promise is real to you in that very moment. Where you feel the emotions of the promise.
If you think you can’t meditate. You are incorrect. The whole idea behind meditation is to feel the emotion to where it is real to you at that moment. We do it all the time but in the negative connotation. Think about something that happened to you that was not good, you think about it for a while and then those emotions start rising up in you. That is negative meditation. So haven’t said that the next time those negative emotions come up you need to send it away!
