The prayer for my agreements that I have made with Darkness.

I am in a 59 part video series teaching from Dr Bruce Wauchope.  This is a very powerful series that I’ve been in for the last 4 weeks some I have to listen to several times. This prayer comes from session 24

2 Corinthians 13:5 (ESV) 5 Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

Holy Spirit I am to some degree deaf, blind and do not get it and I need your help. Help me hear the word from beyond, the voice and person of Christ in me

I need your help to help me see. Please remove my blindness, so i can see and know Jesus Christ in me, know his love, and walk in his light, so i can know and experience the love of dad which he has for me, in me. Amen

I need your help. Please alter my worldview and thoughts. Please change my view, my thoughts my emotions so I can see and hear and think and feel about things as you see, here, think and feel. Amen

Holy Spirit you unveil Christ in me, and I need to see hear and participate with him.

Holy Spirit, Christ is the new Adam. We have been given a new heart. It is the person of Jesus Christ, and he is in US.

May I know and share his heart, his emotions, mind, will, and his love of dad. May I share in his life, his joy, his peace, his heart, and know the love that dad has for me which Jesus has brought into me. Amen

Holy Spirit, Jesus has brought into me, into my being the love with which dad loves him, he has brought the love of dad which he shares with me, for me into me. I am largely unaware of this love, please open my eyes. Please may I see, know, and experience his love, in all of me, including in my dark bits, and the parts of me I do not like, and I don’t love. Amen

Holy Spirit please unveil my agreements with darkness which hinder me seeing, knowing, and feeling his love, and hinder me knowing Jesus Christ in me. Where I am agreeing, colluding, or working with darkness, please help me see, hear, understand, and change, so I can participate in Jesus Christ, the eternal son, the light, and the one who shares life and dad’s love with the world. May I become aware of these agreements with darkness and release them. I chose to release these agreements with darkness now. Amen

Help me walk in Jesus Christ, may I walk in his love and not in fear. Help me walk in life in a way that makes more life. Help me walk in his life in love. Amen

Holy Spirit, in Christ is our life, for he has risen. Holy Spirit, unveil my eyes to see Christ in me. Conform my relating to Christ, conform my body to Christ who is in me, conform all of me to Christ who is in me. Please heal me that I may walk in his love, his life, and his light. Please heal my body. Please confirm it to Christ. Amen

Holy Spirit may I see Christ in others.

I want to be on or about what you are about. Thank you more please, thank you. More please, thank you.

Stop right now and ask Holy Spirit what agreements have I made with darkness?

2 Corinthians 13.5  I implore you to 1examine faith for yourselves in order to test what it is that you really believe. Faith is so much more than the mere veneer of a superstitious belief in a historical Christ; faith is about realizing Jesus Christ in you, in the midst of contradiction. Just 2as ore is placed into a crucible, where the dross is separated from the gold in a furnace, come to the conclusion for yourselves of his indwelling. Should it appear to you that he is absent in your life, look again, you have obviously done the test wrong. (You cannot measure temperature with a ruler. Paul uses the word, 1peiratzō, to examine closely, from peira, to pierce; a test to determine the hidden value of something; also from the word peras, which speaks of extremity or the furthest boundary. Faith is not a veneer to cover up potential depression or disappointment when faced with trying times. Note that Paul is not speaking about you putting your beliefs to the test; but you testing the faith for yourself. There is only one valid faith, not what we believe about God or about ourselves, but what God believes about us. Paul wants you to discover for yourselves what God believes about you. God is persuaded about Christ indwelling you, now he wants you to be equally persuaded. Then he uses the word, 2dokimatzō, as in the testing of metals. Self-examination has nothing to do with finding hidden sins and flaws in you; it is all about realizing Christ in you. The object of the furnace is not to reveal the dross, but the gold. Christ himself is the proof of faith, he is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1. The test of truth is foolproof. See verse 8. Truth is not threatened by our scrutiny. See also 2 Corinthians 4:18  We are not keeping any score of what seems so obvious to the senses on the surface, it is fleeting and irrelevant; it is the unseen eternal realm within us that has our full attention and captivates our gaze. 2 Corinthians 4:7 We have discovered this treasure where it was hidden all along, in these frail skin-suits made of clay. 1 Corinthians 1:6  You certainly have the testimony of Christ evidenced in you. [You possess full knowledge and give full expression because in you the evidence for the truth of Christ has found confirmation. — NEB.])
