What does it say on the dime? In God we trust.
On my way to serve on quest this week. I stopped off at the store to fill up my truck. There it is, a dime . The 1st thing I hear is trust me this week. The 2nd thing I hear is don’t get in my way
John 5:19 (ESV) The Authority of the Son
19 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.
John 12:50 (ESV) 50 And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me.”
The last thing I hear is to say what only needs to be said and don’t add anything extra to what Holy Spirit is telling me
This is a good lesson for just everyday life. Many times We get a word from the Lord for someone and then we want to Add something to it like what God said wasn’t enough.
Do what my Daddy tells me to do, say what my Daddy tells me to say.
