The greatest threat

Your flesh is a greater enemy than the devil. The devil is already defeated, your flesh isn’t.

Nobody wants to die to their flesh when they can blame the devil

Colossians 2:14-15 (Wuest – The New Testament: An Expanded Translation) 14 having obliterated the hand-written document consisting of ordinances, the one [which was] against us, which was directly opposed to us, and He removed it out of the midst with the result that it is no longer there, having nailed it to the Cross;

Colossians 2.15 having stripped off and away from himself the principalities and authorities, He boldly made an example of them, leading them in a triumphal procession in it.

John 12-31 Now is the judgment of this world; this is the moment where the ruler of the world-system is 1conclusively cast out! (The serpent’s head is about to be crushed! Genesis 3:15; Colossians 2:14,15. This is what the Holy Spirit will convince the world of! John 16:11. John uses a double-barrel word here, ekballo ekso – completely thrown out!)
