Throwing stones

Jesus didn’t live for the above beyond all you can ask or imagine.  He lived from it. Jason Clark

John 8:7 (ESV) 7 And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

A prominent pastor has been accused of molesting a 12-year-old young lady for 4 years.

It saddens me and hurts my heart for this young lady. A young lady who carried this pain for a very long time I believe 35 plus years.

What saddens me as much is the people that are throwing stones at this pastor. It’s like John 8:7 doesn’t exist. There are so many across the aisle that want their pound of Flesh. They want Justice.

My biggest struggle for me is the people who want Justice handed down but they do not want Justice for the skeletons that are in their closet that have not been made public.

Remember who you are, the question is not what I am doing, but where is God in Me?

Love your neighbor as you would love yourself.

How deep have you let God in?

Do you let him instruct you or have you let him conquer you? Bob Hamp

That last question is a doozy!

I’m sitting here thinking is this in a way putting God in a box? Are there areas in your life where you shut him out so you can be who you want to be instead of Who You Are in Jesus?

Respond as the person he’s created and redeemed you to be!

  1. this one is awesome reason being. ALL of us hind sin big or small. Soon or later you will pay the consequences for your actions. I have and always will if you don’t bring it to the light. I thank God for Jesus Christ every day that was his only purpose is to cover our sin with his blood. Just sayin.

  2. Thanks Kee for sharing this. Every one of us has fallen and messed up in some way. Definitely I have many times, in many ways. I believe in Christ and Abba Father. I believe justice, healing and redemption has been served through Christ and the good news we all cling to means that all of those involved in this hurtful happening, can and should experience what they need from Jesus — His heart and arms are open. Aren’t we so grateful to have the reassurance that in Abba Father’s plan, He accounted for this and wasn’t surprised that this would come to light?

Now it’s come to light, let us all run to the Light who is Jesus!! I pray that He alone shines in all of this 🙂
