The hurricane

I’m reading this morning and contemplating the word “peace”and what would be a great example of what that looks like.

Philippians 4:9
What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

What does it look like when you’re in complete peace with what’s going on in your world or in the world?

Are you in the eye of the hurricane or are you in the wall cloud? For those of you that don’t know the wall cloud is the first ring of clouds where the maximum winds and rain are. The eye of the storm is calm.

Jehovah shalom is the God of Peace…… Isa 26:3 – 4
You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you.
Trust in the LORD forever,
for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.

Think about this for a moment, you’re in the eye of a hurricane or whatever your circumstance is and your at total peace but you know that you’re going to have to walk through the wall cloud to get to your destination. It’s your choice to walk in peace through the storm. Make it so!

שָׁלוֹם šâlôm; or שָׁלֹם shalom; peace, quiet, tranquillity, contentment peace, friendship of human relationships with God especially in covenant relationship

Keep your eyes on the prize today and not on yourself.
