John 16:13 (TPT) 13 But when the truth-giving Spirit comes, he will unveil the reality of every truth within you. He won’t speak on his own, but only what he hears from the Father, and he will reveal prophetically to you what is to come.
The truth-giving spirit!
The way the Passion translation says verse 13, just moved me.
I had a man tell me one time that the truth is within us all you just have to ask the correct questions. The quality of your life depends on the quality of the questions that you are willing to ask yourself.
What I like about this is where he says. “He will unveil the reality of every truth Within you.”
Have you ever just set for a while and avoided asking yourself the hard questions because you honestly don’t want to hear the answers.
I would submit that you don’t ask the question because you already know the answer and you don’t want to hear the truth because it’s too painful.
There is freedom in pain.
What is the question that you don’t want to ask that Holy Spirit? He wants to give you the truth.
Get quiet, crawl up in his lap and ask. Rest in him and in the promise that everything is yes and amen.
