I am not smart, I am not worthy, I am not useful, I am not likable, I am not fast, I am not special, I am not needed, I am not visible, I am not friendly, I am not hopeful, I am not forgiven, I am not reliable, I am not enough, I am not saved, I am not convincing, I am not free, I am not wanted, I am not confident, I am not valuable, I am not understood, I am not an overcomer, I am not a winner, I am not a good husband, I am not a good father, I am not there yet.
All of these “I am not’s” come from some type of trauma in your life. They turn into agreements. Do any of these agreements ring true with you?
What is the fruit that comes from all of these “I am not’s “
Fear, shame, discouragement, anger, anxiety maybe just flat being stuck.
What does Jesus say about your I am not’s?
All of these I am not’s are a form of your identity.
Jesus, what have I misinterpreted about my life?
Jesus what is the truth about what you say about me?
Colossians 3:2-3 (ESV) Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
You are the condition most acceptable to God!
