I have been listening to a young lady named Heather Hamilton who wrote a book about Returning to Eden.
I have not read the book yet she was on the podcast.
There is a moment in her story where she’s talking about the paramedics that had to come to her home and treat her. One of the paramedics was transgender.
I have included a link if you want to listen to the story because it’s very powerful. But it it made me think about who I am?
If I have to go to the emergency room or the paramedics come to my house to treat me and they’re transgender I know for myself that I would be okay with that but 3 years ago I don’t think I would have. You have to see people the way God sees them. They might be transgender or they might be something else and still love Jesus.
I’m not responsible for their theology.
Love well your life might depend on it!
You just never know, that Jesus in you might be the very thing that the paramedic or whoever needs to see but in this case she needed to see the Jesus in the transgender and didn’t even know it.
God will be looking at you through the eyes of the other person. What will he see?
