Over the last couple weeks my sixth grade PE teacher keeps popping up in my meditation. This guy was so mean to me. I literally hated this man’s guts . I literally believe the way he treated me gave me a hernia. I remember him clearly to this day. I could pick him out of a 100-person lineup. I don’t remember what he said to me. But I’m sure it has affected me big time.
This morning during my meditation I’m sitting on the edge of the cliff in my quiet place. I turned around and there he was just standing there
He met me in my quiet place and told me that he was sorry and was proud of who I became. It just dawned on me that the Jesus in him came out and met me in my Darkness.
I’m sitting here thinking that you never know what Jesus is going to look like. This morning he was my sixth grade PE teacher and I got free and I forgave him. This is something that I’ve been holding on to for almost 50 years.
John 17.26 And I have made the essence of your being known to them so that they may know you by name; and I will also give them understanding to know that the same love wherewith you have loved me is in them even as I am in them.
