2 Corinthians 5.21 This is the divine exchange: he who knew no sin embraced our distortion; he appeared to be without form; this was the mystery of God’s prophetic poetry. He was disguised in our distorted image and marred with our iniquities; he took our sorrows, our pain and our shame to his grave and birthed his righteousness in us. He took our sins and we became his innocence. The Mirror
2 Corinthians 5:21 (ESV) 21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Just sitting here thinking about what matters. Every time something happens in my life or your life does what Jesus say speak louder than what the situation is that you are in?
Jesus says to forgive. Are you still holding on? Are you still waiting? There is no middle ground here. You either forgive or you don’t it’s not a process if you think it’s a process, then you’re still in unforgiveness.
I and you are the righteousness of God in him
Jesus is love, God is love, and it is impossible for them to have unforgiveness. Therefore, you can not either. I can not either it is not an option because if you are walking in unforgiveness right now, then that is speaking louder than Jesus
He took our sorrows, our pain and our shame to his grave and birthed his righteousness in us!
You are hurting. You are emotionally distraught. Whatever is going on, I want to ask yourself, Does your pain speak louder than what Jesus says about your situation?”
I try to walk
