People in your life can tell you things that you’re doing wrong. But until you hear it for yourself from Holy Spirit, most of the time it doesn’t register.
As I continue to walk this life out. The Lord speaks to me again through my little dog. this time it has to do with my grandkids. We’ve had them since Thursday. They went home yesterday afternoon. There were several instances where my grandson was missing with my dog the same way I do. I did not like it. When my wife called him out on it, he said it is what Papaw does. That was not good. I felt like I heard Holy Spirit say. If your dog could talk, she would ask, “Why do you keep messing with me? Look at what you’re teaching your grandson?”
Proverbs 12:10 Good people are good to their animals;
the “good-hearted” bad people kick and abuse them. The message
Proverbs 12:10 A righteous man has kind regard for the life of his animal,
But even the compassion of the wicked is cruel. AMP
This Behavior is something that I have learned from my dad. I always jacked with our pets when I was growing up. I have jacked with my pets my whole life. I have had this behavior in other areas of my life as well. It stops now.
This is a learned behavior, not a generational curse. Some people, including religious individuals, would want you to believe this.
Galatians 3:13 Christ purchased our freedom and redeemed us from the curse of the Law and its condemnation by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS [crucified] ON A TREE (cross)”—
I can remember being asked why do you like to Jack with people? My response would be, “it’s how I show them that I love them.” Man is that some messed up thinking. That is all learned behavior from my childhood watching my dad growing up. Wanting to be like my dad just like my grandson is wanting to be like me. I have to do better.
