Overcoming Self-Focus to Experience God’s Glory

Galatians 1.10 For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Galatians 1:10 (ESV)

I’m sitting here just thinking to myself,  how many times I just want to be seen and heard. Look at me! Look at what I have done! I have paid my dues!

That makes it very difficult to walk in humility,

Example: Why is it important to let people know how long you have served or been an employee at wherever you are? Does that statement actually get in the way of what Holy Spirit is wanting to do in that situation? There is a time and place for everything. A good word at the wrong time is a bad word.

When I am in that place I become unaware of his presence because I’m more focused on myself. I am seeing life through my own lens.

I want to live in a greater awareness of the Manifest presence all the time. To be in the light all the time and have nothing to do with the kingdom of darkness.

Recognize the Deep levels of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in every person, every moment, in every place.

When I don’t see the Father Son and Holy Spirit,  then I tend to make something up.

Being judgemental!

That is as far from who I want to be as I can get.

Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.

25 O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. 26 I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”
John 17:24-26

How can I live in a greater awareness of being in Union with the Father Son and Holy Spirit? I think that begins with some type of meditation and prayer. Seeking the Trinity all the time everywhere. Seeking them in your deepest pain.
