Psalms 65:1-2 (AMP)
1 To You belongs silence [the submissive wonder of reverence], and [it bursts into] praise in Zion, O God;
And to You the vow shall be performed.
2 O You who hear prayer,
To You all mankind comes.
John 1:5 (KJV) 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
So as I’ve been sitting in the early morning time getting quiet, no music, no devotion in the background just hearing the birds. My mind is all over the place. But it’s okay it’s sitting in silence, go sit and unplug and untether. No phone.
The phone is so bad. I have to fight to leave it off for at least 30 to 45 minutes when I used to look at it first thing. A habit that is getting broke.
Very good.
I am learning that what Maximus the Confessor said over 1500 years ago is valid. “The highest form of prayer is silence.”

Absolutely so powerful I guess that’s what it means when Jesus says he already knows what you’re going to pray about before you even say it
