Dorothy Day once wrote “I really only love God as much as the person I love the least, to love God is to love the whole of reality which includes everything and everyone. Instead of trying to escape certain people and keep them out of my personal ark such as my life, country, church, work, organization, business etcetera. This picture of Christ as the whole opens me to a radical inclusiveness. The moment I exclude anyone from my sphere of compassion, at the moment I have placed Christ in exile.
The person that you love the least, is that person in your life? Is that person in my life? Could there be someone from your past that you hate because of what they did to you? Because of what they did you now believe a lie about yourself.
Matthew 22:39 (ESV) 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Here’s a thought could the person that you love the least actually be yourself? Remember what is said in Genesis.
Genesis 1:31 (ESV) 31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
You have always been good from the beginning.
The statement Original Sin is a doctrine that was created by St Augustine in the early church
Augustine of Hippo (354–430 AD)
You have always been good.
