Spirit of fear

I have no spirit of fear, Jesus canceled that.

I love this scripture, but I’ve always paid more attention to the first part than I have the last. I can’t tell you how many times I have said this passage and never thought about the last part.

It took reading a book and really digging in to what this passage really means for me.

2 Timothy 1:7 (ESV) 7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Interesting that the Lord gives us self control.

The book is titled “God is NOT in control.”

I love this book and it touches on two major things Sovereign control and Sovereign Love. I personally lean towards Sovereign Love. Never in my life have I heard the two words Sovereign Love together. Flesh and Blood did not reveal that to Jason, I assure you.

“I don’t know but God is good.” Jason Clark

God is love and that’s who he is and Jesus is the perfect example. Jesus is perfect theology

1 Timothy 1.7 Become fully acquainted with his gift in you, there is nothing timid about it; the dynamic of a 1mind liberated in the spirit of love is fearless and unstoppable. (The word 1sophronismos means a saved mind, a mind saved from tolerating inferior thoughts. Isa 55:8-11) The Mirror

I am fearless and I am Unstoppable. I am a son, I am a daughter.
