I look at this passage as reassurance that no matter what, I’m a son. If I’m in jail and get in a fight. I am still a son. If I go through a divorce, I’m still a son. If I choose after 33 years and go back out and start using cocaine again I’m still a son.
The same power that rose Jesus from the dead is at work in me right now. It defeated sin, conquered death, and the devil’s lies.
