The encounter

I was doing some tractor work at my house yesterday, and all of a sudden, I just felt like I needed to hop in my truck. Go get me some Nyquil at the Dollar General (I live in the country) and then come back home. After I leave my neighborhood, there’s a guy standing out the middle of the road flagging me down. I’m thinking what in the world is going on here. I pulled over, and he said his wife was in the BMW down the road, and she is drunk, and her mom just died. She is not good.

He got in my truck, and I gave him a ride to catch up to his wife. She was pulled over off the side of the road. He got out, and he was very grateful. I dropped him off, took off down the road, got about a mile down, and I just felt like the Holy Spirit says you need to turn around and go back and pray for them. I’m thinking to myself seriously? I had the audacity to think , right now? so I did.

I mean, it’s almost comical that I even had that thought process at all.

I went back, and there they were still parked on the side of the road

I jumped out of my truck he was actually in the driver’s seat now, and I said man I just had to come back. I need to pray for you guys right now, and I just started praying, and they both kind of looked at me. I’m really not thinking they were believers, but I didn’t care. They were grateful. I gave him my business card, and I went on about my way. Before I left, though, I told him if you need to talk, give me a call. He had told me earlier that they had just moved out here.

I pray that he calls me. But if he doesn’t, that’s okay. I planted the seed, but it’s not my job to water it.

I did not get his wife’s name but his name is Cesar.

I heard, I obeyed, and something good will come of it.

I might hear something next week or I might hear something 10 years down the road an awesome testimony I don’t know.

1 Peter 3:15 (TPT) 15 But give reverent honor in your hearts to the Anointed One and treat him as the holy Master of your lives. And if anyone asks about the hope living within you, always be ready to explain your faith

I might not have been able to explain my faith but I did get to show them Jesus

    1. Thank you the older I get the more I recognize his voice or should I say the more I recognize holy spirit’s voice. Usually when you hear you know it’s him. We have to stop questioning and just act
