.Genesis 16 Hagar is running into the desert. Where with all probability she is going to die, and then the angel of Lord asked her a question
Genesis 16:8 (ESV) 8 And he said, “Hagar, servant of Sarai, where have you come from and where are you going?” She said, “I am fleeing from my mistress Sarai.”
The angel of the Lord is just asking a simple question, there is no accusation or frustration with this question
He asked the question and then he just listened
Genesis 16:13 (ESV) 13 So she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are a God of seeing,” for she said, “Truly here I have seen him who looks after me.”
How many times do we run and then Holy Spirit asks us a question? Where have you come from and where are you going?
I look at that passage and it’s almost like an invitation . You are invited to tell me where have you come from and where are you Going?
