Yesterday I was cleaning out a ditch at my house when I was reminded of something.. When I got out of the ditch I had a rock in my shoe. I walked up to the house and it was really bothering me. I left that rock in my shoe and went to home depot. I walked into the store and then when I came out I couldn’t take it any longer and took my boot off and removed the rock.
The rock in my shoe represents un-forgiveness. Had I left that rock in my shoe it would have hurt even more and eventually It would have caused a callous or blister. It was my choice to leave that rock in my shoe as long as I did . I made The Choice and took the rock out of my shoe. The pain it was causing was gone it was over I sent it away.
Nobody could take the rock out of my shoe for me . Nobody knew it was there. Except maybe they noticed I was walking funny.
Do you have a rock in your shoe today that needs to be removed . That rock in your shoe isn’t hurting anyone else. Remember it’s your choice to leave the rock in your shoe. It’s your choice to not forgive somebody.
It’s your choice, are you ready to take the rock out of your shoe?
John 13:34 (ESV) 34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
