Psalm 27:8

The last 3 weeks my quiet time my secret place my quiet place, whatever you call it. Everybody has a different name. It is not been good. I can literally say that I have let my shoulder injury get the best of me. I’ve been rocking along since my sabbatical last august, really have been in a great place. I think I can say I let my shoulder injury get the best of me and I let it define me. My nights were sleepless and in some ways they still are.

I literally let myself get taken out. So I purposed myself this morning to pray and read and do what I do and the day is so much better for it. And then I come across this scripture which is exactly what I did this morning psalm 27:8.

Psalms 27:8 (ESV Strong’s)
8 You have said, “Seek my face.”
My heart says to you,
“Your face, LORD, do I seek.

Holy spirit says draw near to me and I will draw near to you. We all know that when Holy Spirit drawn used to you something is going to change and it’s not going to be holy spirit. Thank you for the prodding this morning.

We all go through spells where we come down off the mountain. Whether it be on quest or a huge revelation. The bottom line is that God never goes anywhere we do. I have nobody to blame it myself and that’s okay. Back on the horse we go!
