Be prepared.

1 Peter 2:12 (ESV Strong’s)
12 Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation.

1 Peter 2:12 The beautiful way in which you conduct yourselves in the company of people who are not familiar with your beliefs, will attract their attention to the resonance of their hearts as they witness for themselves God’s intentions as evidenced in your good works. This will be as clear as daylight to them and will completely disarm the rumors that they have heard about you. The mirror

Be prepared today, there will probably be an opportunity to be around unbelievers. This will give you an opportunity to be Jesus with skin on. Always be prepared to give a reason for the hope that you have. But remember, sometimes you don’t have to speak it all. All you have to do is live it, so others can see who you are.

I have been guilty of this before. There is sometimes a thought process that it’s okay to be mean or angry with people that you don’t know. I don’t know why, maybe you think you’ll never see them again. But if you do act like a non-believer then why in the world would they want to be a believer after seeing how you acted?

You are a believer! See everyone through The eyes of God. See everyone the way God sees them, not through your own filter. Be prepared to surrender your own opinion of somebody.

Today is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!
