Romans 12:17 two wrongs do not make a right. Never retaliate, instead, cultivate the attitude to anticipate only Beauty and value in every person you encounter.
When I saw the word cultivate it made me think of a phrase I heard once.
Stop trying to create the absence of sin and start cultivating the presence of the Lord
I believe it would be very difficult to see beauty and value in every person you come in contact with if you are not cultivating the presence of the Lord in your life.

Cultivating the presence of the Lord……. it’s not just having a quiet time every morning. It is loving people where they are not where you want them to be. It’s calling the the checkout person at Home Depot by their name instead of just giving them your credit card and walking out. It’s asking someone that you don’t know how are they doing and being prepared to have a conversation with them if they want.
it’s telling somebody out of the blue that there is greatness in them. You will be amazed at what that simple phrase does to people.
People just want to be heard and loved on.
