Romans 12:18 You have within you what it takes to be everyone’s friend, regardless of how they treat you. (See Rom 1:16, 17. Also Mt 5:44, 45.)
Romans 12:19 Do not bother yourselves to get even, dear ones. ……………..
It’s hard to be everyone’s friend when you have a root of bitterness or unforgiveness in your heart.
I say that because if you have that root in your heart, you’re seeing everything through that filter of bitterness and unforgiveness then everything is skewed. It also makes it very easy to become offended at the littlest things.
Sometimes when you get this way and it’s been this way for so long it becomes your truth.

This morning I was bouncing around between Romans and Luke when I got back to Luke.
I had to ask myself how is my heart?
I have to remind myself about unforgiveness. Lord when ( put name here) stands in front of you on Judgement Day please forgive him what he did to me.
