Luke 21.61-62. And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remember the saying of the Lord, how he had said to him, “before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times.” and he went out and wept bitterly
I just got so convicted this morning when I thought how many times would the rooster crow during my day?
Peter denied Jesus three times. This isn’t so much about denying Jesus too people. You can deny Jesus when you’re all by yourself.
What are you saying? What are you doing? What are you thinking?
I hate the thought that I might hear the rooster several times during the day.
Maybe instead of denying Jesus with my actions and my words I should die to myself instead.
