What do you do when trust has been broken?

Personally I think it’s just like anything else. You take those thoughts captive. You don’t have control over what the other person has said or done or is going to do.
Philippians 4 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

I think about this quote it reminds me that I have a choice. When I have a thought that is not good, at that moment I have a choice. I can either stay in that thought or I can take it captive to the obedience of Christ.
Phil. 4:8 Now let this be your conclusive reasoning: consider that which is true about everyone as evidenced in Christ.

How much simpler would life be if you were able to consistently take every negative thought captive? To constantly think and be overwhelmed about how God thinks about you. Nothing could stop you.
