Matthew 21:19 and seeing a fig tree by the wayside, he went to it and found nothing on it but only leaves. And he said to it, “may no fruit ever come from you again!” And the Fig Tree withered at once.
Today think positive, be positive and say positive things. Jesus spoke over the fig tree and it withered immediately. This goes to show how powerful our words can be. When somebody is hurting, you give them comfort, when they’ve done a great job you tell them and give them a pat-on-the-back the back. Give someone a word of encouragement. Because that is Who We Are.
I like to tell people “there is greatness in you,” because there is but tell that to a store clerk that you never met before, it really brightens their day. You just don’t hear that phrase that often.
The same goes with words of death they can be very wounding and last weeks months years or maybe even decades. Words of death can turn into someone’s truth.
Today I ask you to make a point to be positive with everyone you come in contact with. Say hello give a word of encouragement. This includes yourself. When standing in front of the mirror. Look at yourself today and tell yourself there is greatness in me!
