Be of good courage

Psalm 31:24 Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

When I read this Psalm, the very first thing that comes to mind is to be courageous and he will strengthen my heart. Sounds like a promise to me . The second thing that comes to mind is Be of good courage and Play The Man”

2nd Samuel 10:12 Be of good courage, and let us play the man for our people, and for the cities of our God: and Jehovah do that which seemeth him good. ASV

There will be adversity to walk through this week. Stay close to Him. Be strong, and as you persevere. Your heart will be strengthened. You will have many opportunities this week to play the man for your family, for your work or maybe even for strangers.

I believe there will be opportunities to stay out of God’s way and let him do what he does best. So let him.

2nd Timothy 4 5. But you be vigilant in all things, don’t allow the devastating things that you suffer to get to you! Continue in the full persuasion of your ministry as Herald of the good news, you cannot have a more poetic job description
