The Anointed

1 John 2:20 But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. ²¹ I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

A very good reminder this morning that I am anointed it’s not anything that I did. It is a gift from the one who lives Within Me.

1 John 2:26 I write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you. ²⁷ But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.

I am an overcomer! Jesus is in me I can’t change that.  I don’t have a say on how he feels about me.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Nothing is impossible because I believe in God’s love and power within me. I always have victory through Jesus; in Him, I am more than a conqueror. As Jesus is now, so am I. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is in me now. God’s love drives away all fear from my life. The power that raised Jesus, filled Him with righteousness, and conquered sin, death, and the devil is working in me right now. Dr Richards
