Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Thinking about this verse this morning it dawned on me. If I’m seeking the kingdom of God first, then how can I walk in unforgiveness? How can I be angry all the time? How can I be hateful and not love people?
We walk in the light 1st John 1:7
If we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another. The blood of Jesus his son cleanses us from all sin.
We all sin and have fallen short of the glory of God.
Confess and he is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Thus, it is imperative to embrace righteousness and seek God’s kingdom foremost. Avoid living in a state of perpetual hurt; life is too brief for such burdens. Treating others as you wish to be treated shows your true identity. It reflects that you are a cherished son or daughter of your Heavenly Father.
Remember, you are treasured and esteemed by Him.
Matthew 6.6
