Over the last 20 years I’ve had it ingrained into me that I’m here to serve Jesus. I’m not here to serve Jesus I’m here to serve my brother. To love my neighbor.
I’m here to see my brother the same way God sees him
Mark 10:45 (ESV) 45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Acts 17:24-25 (ESV) 24 The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, 25 nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.
Jesus came not to be served but he came to do for me what is impossible for me to do for myself. (Bob Hamp) many times I think I have it figured out and then Jesus reminds me. You have left me out of your picture and that is why it’s not working for you.
I have to say that those times that Jesus reminds me that he’s not in my picture. I thought he was.
When does it deceived person know he’s deceived?
I no longer live for Jesus but I live from him.
