When it comes to Jesus I’m not here to defend I’m here to reveal.
When I think about that statement it reminds me of times that I’ve actually have argued somewhat with somebody over what the Bible says. Like I am trying to defend my beliefs when in fact I should be communicating in a way where I am actually revealing the Jesus that I’m talking about versus trying to defend.
I think it would be hard to be Jesus with skin on and defend him at the same time. There are those that are not ready to hear the real truth versus the lies they’ve been taught over the years whether it be from their Church, their pastor, their parents, wherever you started believing the lies.
Colossians 1:15-17 (ESV)
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
