Romans 5:17

Romans 5:12 (ESV)
12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—

I’m wondering just exactly what did you/ we do to receive death through sin?  We did nothing. 

Romans 5:17 (ESV) 17 For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man,

And then there is Jesus.

much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.

Doesn’t really sound like there’s anything that I need to do to receive this free gift.

Then there is religion.  I have to do all these things to get back to God

Religion makes it out that it’s not free.

I am so glad that my Father in heaven will never leave me or forsake me. Even when I’m in the middle of my crap and it might even look like I’ve turned my back on him. He is still there loving me unconditionally until that day.

John 14:20 (ESV) 20 In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

Deuteronomy 33:26-27 (ESV) 26 “There is none like God, O Jeshurun,
who rides through the heavens to your help,
through the skies in his majesty.
27 The eternal God is your dwelling place,
and underneath are the everlasting arms.
And he thrust out the enemy before you
