Proverbs 4:23 (ESV) 23 Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the boundaries of life.
Remember the beliefs of our hearts determine all the boundaries of our lives, your identity and authority is what gets affected the most.
Many times the beliefs of our hearts come from what we meditate on. What do you meditate on we all do it. What you’re meditating on could be good or it could be bad and you meditate until you start experiencing it in your own heart.
So the question that needs to be asked is what do you believe, what have you been meditating on? If you get Negative emotions from what you’re meditating on then I would submit that you’re meditating on the wrong thing.
Just think for a moment about the power of negative meditating. You’re sitting in your chair and you start thinking about something that happened to you that was bad you start getting emotional you start reliving it that is meditating.
Philippians 4:8 (ESV) 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
