There are times in our lives when we make decisions based on a temporary place in our heart.
In other words we make decisions based on our woundedness or our trauma instead of making the decision based on Jesus.
Think about the last time you had to make a big decision. What was it based on? Was it based on who you are in Jesus?
Was it based on the unforgiveness and anger that you’re walking in. That filter right there can skew so many things.
Don’t make a permanent decision from a temporary place.
Matthew 11:28-30 (ESV) 28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Make your decision from a place of rest, not from a place of woundedness, not from a temporary place.
