A bruised Reed

Isaiah 42:1 (ESV)
1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold,
my chosen, in whom my soul delights;
I have put my Spirit upon him;
he will bring forth justice to the nations.

Isaiah 42:3 (ESV) 3 a bruised reed he will not break,
and a faintly burning wick he will not quench;

If you are that bruised reed or that faintly burning Wick he will restore you. That’s who he is. God is love. He is in the restoration business.

The Pearly gate exercise

One day you will come to the gates.

I was asked to Close my eyes For a Moment.

I was asked a series of questions while my eyes were closed, it was like I stepped back into meditation.

What do they look like? What was I walking on to get there? What are the gates made of?

I was caught so off guard by this. I was just listening to this on YouTube but I chose to do the exercise.

All of a sudden I just see Jesus from the Chosen with open arms and he says “I love you I’ve been waiting for you, you are mine.” He gives me a hug and not just any hug a hug un like anything I’ve ever felt. It just broke me, I’m just sitting here in my chair in tears. I don’t have to wait now, I just got rocked.

This morning I saw how I will be greeted when I venture to the gates.

I will not be a bruised read or a faintly burning wick.

I am his beloved.
