Loving Well

As I am listening to Andre Rabe “All creation is incarnation.” It just really lights me up in a good way.

Derek Turner “when Paul says the mystery of this entire gospel is Christ in you the hope of glory,  how is it that we believe what happened in Adam was universal to all humanity but what happened in Christ is somehow limited?So, as I begin to ponder on that, I realized if it’s true, then I don’t need to become hyper obsessed with getting people saved, I need to be hyper obsessed with loving people well and letting love melt fear away to reveal the Christ in you the hope of glory.“

I have listened to this podcast no less than probably five times this week.  It is so good. Loving people well.  When you love people well even those who don’t know Jesus will want to know what is different about you and why.

Peter said it,   always be prepared to give a reason for the hope that you have.

When I looked up Colossians 1.27 in the Mirror translation it just rocked me. 

Colossians 1.27   Within us, God is delighted to exhibit the priceless treasure of this glorious unveiling of Christ’s indwelling in order that every person on the planet, whoever they are, may now come to the greatest discovery of all time and recognize Christ in them as in a mirror! He is the 1desire of the nations and completes their every expectation! (He is not hiding in history, or in outer space nor in the future, neither in the pages of Scripture, he is merely mirrored there to be unveiled within you. Mt 13:44, Gal 1:15, 16, 2 Cor 3:18, 2 Cor 4:4,7. This is huge! What God was now able to disclose in the Saints is immediately equally relevant in the nations! Christ in the nations is the hope of glory! This is the mystery of the ages! This is what we were waiting for [1Haggai 2:6,7])
