It was the first thing I thought about this morning half asleep laying in bed.
I am blameless! I am a son!
Philippians 2:15 (ESV) 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
There are three important words in this passage. Blameless, blemish and lights
Blemish amōmos morally: without blemish, faultless, unblameable
Blameless amemptos means blameless, deserving no censure, free from fault or defect
Lights phōstēr that which gives light, an illuminator
Everyday last week I read John 14:2 but today I get it.
John 14.2 What makes my Father’s house home, is your place in it! If this was not the ultimate conclusion of my mission why would I even bother to do what I am about to do if it was not to prepare a place for you? I have come to persuade you of a place of seamless union where you belong.
I woke this morning blameless I am at home with Jesus.
John 14.6 Jesus said, “My I-am-ness [mirrored in you] is your way; this is your truth and also your life! Every single person can now come face to face with the Father entirely because of my doing.”
