Thinking about forgiveness

Who do you need to forgive? The name or the face that just came to you?

If you thought to yourself, I already forgave that person. My question would be why did Holy Spirit just bring that person back up to you?

Forgiveness is not just a one-time act it is also a long-term process many times.

What if you thought you were done and you had completely forgiven this person. Maybe this person that you forgave has passed away, then you find out through a friend or an acquaintance that this person did something to them and you didn’t know about it. Now everything is stirred back up again.

Now what do you do? What do you say to the person who was hurt?

Now you have a choice. Do you let that negative thought run in your mind or do you put a stop to it immediately.

John 14.1 Set your troubled hearts at ease by letting your belief 1conclude in God as you rest your confidence in me. (The preposition 1eis, means a point reached in conclusion.)

Remember the word forgive in the Greek means to send away. Now send it away. It is that simple.

Let sovereign love come into your Darkness and speak to you.
