In the beginning, when I got saved in 2001, I thought it was about going to heaven. I said the prayer, and my ticket was punched. I’m on my way. Then, in 2008, I got Reborn and began to understand that it wasn’t about getting to heaven as much as it was about living for him. Getting to Heaven is a benefit
Now, in 2023, I don’t go to Jesus to make my life better
I go to him to make my life true and real to live my life what it was created to be. I am a Saint.
1 Corinthians 1:2 (ESV) 2 To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints ( ἅγιος hagios; most holy thing, a saint) together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:
To love the Lord my God with everything in my being and to love all people the same way to see all people in the spirit do not let things bother me.
And that is the big difference now is to love all people and to not let things bother me.
To walk this life out with other men and other women and family, and to watch them grow because of what the Lord has given me to say to them
I get to do this and it is such a privilege.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV) 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
We are new! The old man is gone!
