I heard this the other day, and it just really made me think that if Jesus had the same attitude that I had about so many different things, I’m not sure he would ever have gone to the cross. I am grateful that I am more like him instead of him being like me. Those bad attitude days are getting farther and farther apart. One day, they will be nonexistent!
What is not permissible in Jesus is not permissible in me
If you squeeze an orange what do you get? You get orange juice you don’t get apple juice you don’t get prune juice get orange juice.
When I get squeezed, I want Jesus to come out of me and nothing else.
We are all going to get squeezed at one time or another. Hopefully, the bad stuff’s been pruned off, so you will just ooze Jesus
John 15:1-2 (ESV)
1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
Now I understand this whole chapter is great, even the scriptures between the ones that I’ve posted, but these are the ones I felt like he was pressing on me this morning
John 15:8-9 (ESV) 8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. 9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.
