Matthew 11:28 (ESV) 28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

For me, this is probably the closest scripture that you could paraphrase “come as you are”

So many people think they need to get right before they can come to church and follow Jesus or vice-versa. Or maybe they think they need to get their ducks in a row before they go on a quest. The Quest Life

My question to that person would be, do you clean yourself up before you get in and take a shower?

As you begin to do life with Jesus, you begin to change. If you have questions, then you get answers. You then begin to move into a relationship.

I love this phrase ” When you draw near to God something is going to change and it’s not going to be him.”
