Proverbs 18:10 (ESV) 10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower;
the righteous man runs into it and is safe.
Where do you run when things get tough? When the pressure is on who do you call ? Who do you go see? This is my opinion but if you go anywhere other than going to the Lord, you’re you’re setting yourself up for temptation.
What would be the reason that you would choose not to run to the Lord in time of need?
Proverbs 27:12 (ESV) 12 The prudent sees danger and hides himself,
but the simple go on and suffer for it.
He sees danger and hides himself.
Matthew 6:6 (ESV) 6 But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
The Lord is our only source. He always leads us besides still waters. He always makes us lie down in green pastures.
He is our Shepard! We shall not be in lack!
