Psalms 91:1 (KJV)
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Abiding in him and resting in him is everyday. Jesus is our Sabbath not Sunday.
Exodus 33:14 (ESV Strong’s)
14 And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
When I’m restless I have to wonder…….. What is really going on? Am I truly resting in him and I truly abiding in him? He is abiding in me.
Jehovah-Shamma…….He is always present, there should be a peace in your heart knowing this promise. Be at rest.
Hebrew 3.18 God’s invitation does not exclude anyone from possessing the promise of his 1rest; their unbelief does. Persuasion cannot be compromised by unbelief. (Our believing a lie about ourselves cannot compromise what God knows to be true about us. Futile striving to become cannot match the bliss of discovering and celebrating who you already are by his design and redemption. 1His rest declares his perfect likeness revealed and redeemed in human form. [See Gen 1:26, 31, 2:1, 2])
Read this week on rest as I am on vacation, but Jehovah Shalom “our peace” provides peace/ rest everyday in every type of situation. Really good Kee! Love and miss ya bud!!
