Sometimes I think I know all the answers, that I know the variables that are going on in my life, all the factors, all the players that are involved. But I don’t. When I think that way it makes me feel like I’m in control when in actuality I’m out of control. Only God knows all the variables that play out in my life scenario.
1 Corinthians 4:20 (ESV Strong’s)
20 For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.
I truly believe sometimes instead of following Jesus as my shepherd along the path that he wants to lead me. I try to get him to follow the path that I choose. I honestly think that sometimes I know better. I talk more than I listen.
Reality check: I don’t know better. The LIE is I think I do.
Philippians 4:6 be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.
I tend to get myself in a lot of messes because I think my way is the better way. The promises of God are real.
It’s time to take ownership of the promises and be led by the spirit!
