Heb 6:13 — Heb 6:14
The Certainty of God’s Promise
For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by himself, saying, “Surely I will bless you and multiply you.”
There’s a level of comfort in this promise from God. There is nothing in this promise that says Abraham has to do anything specifically. God just spoke it!
2 Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.
There’s even more comfort knowing that all of God’s promises find their yes in him!
Hebrews 6:18
so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us.
The icing on the cake. God does not lie. Today and tomorrow and the next day you are blessed.
Good word today. Amen.
