There are things that we have learned over the years. Some in church some out of church that have formed certain beliefs. Some of these beliefs that we’ve learned in church go against what the actual scripture says. Some of the beliefs that we have learned out of church go against what actual scripture says.
Proverbs 14:12
There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death.
You get to the point where some of what you’ve learned becomes part of your identity and you believe it with your whole heart. But it’s wrong. You could have experienced a trauma in your life that gives you certain beliefs. What is the LIE that you are believing. What is the lie or the belief that you have right now that doesn’t line up with the death burial and Resurrection of Jesus. Search out the truth for yourself.
Pro 3:5 — Pro 3:6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
The word “understanding” in Hebrew can also be the word “knowledge” and the word “acknowledge” in the Hebrew also means “know.”
So don’t lean on your own knowledge in in all your ways know him.
It’s okay to surrender your opinion that you have held on to for so long. because when you discover what the actual truth is that is freedom!
