John 9:3 Jesus answered emphatically, “His condition has absolutely nothing to do with any sins committed either by himself or his parents! Neither him nor his parents were guilty of sin, this is an opportunity for God’s action (in Christ) to be unveiled in him! (Jesus again disarms the Karma-principle that religion hinges on!)
Could it be that there are things going on in your life that you want to blame on your sin or your parents sin. I think this is something that we have learned over the years somewhere in the body somebody may have told you that your sin is the reason you are where you’re at today and so that is the beginning of the LIE.
I believe it is more about the mindset that you need to focus on. Whatever is going on in your life right now is an opportunity for God’s glory to be revealed. It does not mean that you have sin in your life. Maybe you’re having a hard time finding a job. Struggling in your marriage. Maybe there is unforgiveness, I don’t know. Ask Holy Spirit
