Luke 12:11-12. And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and authorities, do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you want to say.
………….Or not to say.
What do you do, When something happens and you feel that you have to defend yourself, maybe somebody said something bad about you or you have been slandered. Maybe somebody told a lie about you at work and you feel you have to go get in front of somebody’s face and tell them what really happened. Instead of just trusting God that he is going to defend you. He doesn’t need your help to fix the situation. I think many times our instincts tell us that we need to fix the problem. When instead we need to step back and let the Lord take care of it the way he sees fit.
I believe, and this is my opinion, confronting someone oftentimes can be comfortable. Trusting the Lord in a situation can be uncomfortable.
Today, stay out of God’s way and let him defend you.
