Choices

Colossians 4:6 season your conversation with Grace. This Remains the most attractive and appropriate option to respond in every situation. The Mirror Bible

John Maxwell says “if you want to get from where you are to where you want to be, you have to start by becoming aware of the choices that lead you away from your desired destination. Become very conscious of every choice you make today so you can begin to make smarter choices moving forward.

When is was walking into the Walmart yesterday I must have passed 6 people in the parking lot and I made it a point to say hello to everyone of them. However when I got inside I just wanted to go get what I wanted and get out of there. ( I also avoided the Walmart greeter.) Otherwise I would still be there saying hello to everyone it was a madhouse, almost like the day before Christmas. I made a choice in the parking lot and then I made a choice when I got inside. That takes work sometimes it’s just easier to keep your head down and not say anything to anybody and then you can be like everybody else. I don’t want to be like everybody else. We are peculiar people. We are a royal priesthood. We are a holy nation. You can’t keep walking around with your head down and not smile and say hello. We are called to a higher order then that.

He says season your conversation with Grace. Sometimes all that needs to be is just hello and a beautiful smile.

When you think about the Walmart greeter and how many people they see everyday. Many people won’t even look at them and say hello, it’s almost like being abused. I can honestly say I’ve never stopped and asked the Walmart greeter how are they doing today?

May the Lord give you an opportunity today to smile, to watch your tone, and to let your conversation be seasoned with Grace

Love on those closest to you Have a wonderful day!
